A conditional use permit allows the possibility for an exception to the stated zoning requirements. Dane County and the Town of Vermont must approve the application.

CUP applications must be received by the third Thursday of the month to be heard at the following month’s Plan Commission meeting. 

The Town of Vermont CUP application must include the following:

• • A copy of your Dane County CUP application
• • The date of the Dane County hearing if it has been scheduled and confirmed

A site visit by the Town of Vermont Plan Commission may be required.
