Parrish Oak Savanna / County F & Moyer Road

Details: 29 acres prairie and oak savanna restoration. A designated State Natural Area, now owned and managed by The Prairie Enthusiasts. More than 235 native plant species recorded.

Visit: Park on road side. Walk up former road.

Pleasant Valley Conservancy /Pleasant Valley Road & County F  

Details: 140-acre hillside open oak savanna and wetland established by Tom and Kathie Brock, now a designated State Natural Area owned and managed by The Prairie Enthusiasts. Over 300 species of flower plants recorded.

Visit: Parking on Pleasant Valley Road in pull off. Lovely trails top the ridge.

Vermont Lutheran Prairie & Woodland /Vermont Church Road

Details: New restoration established in 2022 from former farm fields. 115 acres of woodland and rolling land that spreads down toward Vermont Creek at Highway 78.

Visit: Park at church Gathering Place. Paths circle the developing restoration.
